Our teachers are the heart of BASIS Plano. They inspire a love of learning and a drive to achieve in every classroom, and they are the reason our students do so well.
With teachers leaving Texas classrooms at a record rate, the Annual Teacher Fund is how the school offers competitive pay and keeps highly qualified teachers where they belong: in front of our students.
Gifts are eligible for employer matching and are tax-deductible as the law allows.

100% of what you give to the BASIS Plano Annual Teacher Fund stays at BASIS Plano.

It funds performance-based pay for our teachers, recognising student achievement, classroom impact, professional leadership and community work.
Who receives it
Your gift is made to BASIS Texas Charter Schools, Inc., a 501(c)(3), and processed by the Communities Foundation of Texas, which runs North Texas Giving Day.
The Annual Teacher Fund is run by BASIS Plano and BASIS Ed. The Booster shares it because great teachers matter to every family, but it is not a Booster campaign: the Booster does not receive or administer any part of your gift. Please budget for it separately from Booster giving.
